Description
Lower Black Moss Farmhouse and the barn attached to its east date from the 18th century. The building is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof that slopes down to the right of the chimney. It has two storeys and features square gutter corbels. On the ground floor, there are two three-light square stone mullion windows, while the first floor has two two-light windows and one altered window. A peaked stone hood is positioned over the central doorway. The barn to the right shares the same roof but has no openings on this side.
