Description
Lower Wheathead Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century and has been divided into two dwellings. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and has an L-shaped layout, standing two storeys tall. The ground floor features a 2-light window and a 5-light window, both with returned drip labels above, along with a plain door situated between them. On the first floor, there are two 3-light windows. To the right, there is one new window on each storey, added in 1983. The gabled wing to the left includes a plain doorway and one renewed window on each floor. All original windows have chamfered stone mullions, while the rear of the building showcases mullioned windows.
