Description

Seghole Bridge is a bridge that dates from the medieval or post-medieval period and was extended before 1844. It features a single span constructed of lightly dressed rubble stonework that spans Trawden Brook. The bridge has a segmental arch made with neatly laid, roughly wedge-shaped voussoirs. The later extension is positioned at approximately 45 degrees to the original structure and is made of similar dressed rubble stonework.
