Description
Standing Stone Gate Farmhouse and the barn adjacent to the west form a single range, dating from 1791. The building is constructed of stone with a stone slate roof, featuring stone coping and gutter corbels. It has relief quoins and is two storeys high. The facade includes two square windows with a central stone mullion, and all the mullions and window surrounds are square in shape. There is a plain central doorway topped with a peaked stone hood. The building has one chimney on the gable end and another on the ridge. The barn to the left projects forward of the house and has two square windows with glazing bars.
