Description

The garden walls and entrance gate located to the north-east and north-west of Borwick Hall are constructed of rubble. The wall extends from the car park entrance on Capernwray Road and continues along Borwick Lane to the gatehouse, featuring a chamfered gateway with a triangular head. Additionally, a shorter wall connects from the cross-wing of the house to the perimeter wall, which includes a gateway that has a re-set window lintel inscribed with '1678 R H A'.
