Description

This boundary stone, located 100 metres north of the drive to Slyne Hall, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of sandstone and has a triangular section. The left-hand face is inscribed with 'SLYNE' and the right-hand face with 'BOLTON'. This stone marks the boundary with Bolton-le-Sands Parish.
