House and barn. House dated 1697, altered. Rendered with slate roof. 2 storeys with attic. Original facade faces garden to east and is of 3 bays. Windows are mullioned with rebated and chamfered surrounds. Left-hand bay has conservatory on ground floor and former 2-light window with mullion removed above. Window above central porch is of 2 lights. Right-hand windows were formerly of 3 lights and now have on mullion each remaining. C20 flat-roofed dormer to left. Within the porch is a moulded stone door surround with a lintel inscribed: '16 RSA 97'. Chimneys to left and right. West facade, facing road, of 2 bays. Windows are chamfered or rebated and chamfered, except for the right-hand window on the ground floor which has plain reveals. The central single-storey gabled porch is a mid C20 addition. Interior has axial main ceiling joists, and an original chamfered sandstone parlour fireplace with cornice mantel. The barn, to the right, is of render and cobble with a stone slate roof. Against the front wall is an outshut which returns against the right-hand gable wall and has a slate roof. To the left of the outshut is a cart entrance with timber lintel.
