Description
Moss House and the attached outbuilding are a farmhouse and outbuilding dating from the mid-18th century, with some remains from the 17th century. The structure is built of gritstone rubble and features a graduated stone slate roof. It has two storeys and two bays, with an additional outbuilding bay on the left. The house has a 20th-century door located in a chamfered quoined surround to the right, topped with a flat single-slab hood. There are two three-light mullion windows on each floor, with the first-floor window on the left having slightly recessed flat-faced mullions. The house has end stacks. The bay on the left contains a board door in a plain surround. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
