Description
Moss Barn Farmhouse, likely built in the late 17th century, features pebble dashed rubble and a modern tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are designed with an outer chamfer and inner hollow chamfer, each with hoods. To the left of the entrance is a single-light window with a truncated hood, while to the right is a four-light window. On the first floor, there are two three-light windows. The door is framed by a stone surround with a shallow roll moulding. The right gable has a chimney cap with coping and a weathered offset. The adjoining barn has a wide entrance with plain reveals and a timber lintel, flanked by projecting outshuts, with a continuous roof that creates a porch. The left outshut features a door and a window with plain reveals, while the right outshut has a window with a plain stone surround. Inside the barn, there are king-post trusses.
