Description

Bolton Turnpike Bridge, also known as Number 123, is a bridge over the Lancaster Canal that was opened in 1797. It is constructed from large punched gritstone blocks and features a single semi-elliptical arch with a projecting keystone. Below the solid parapet, there is a string course with rounded coping.
