Description

22 New Street is a house that has been converted into a restaurant. It was built in the late 18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The exterior features scored and painted render over sandstone rubble, and it has a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan with a rear wing on the right side. It stands three storeys high and has two bays. The ground floor includes a 20th-century shop front, while the upper floors have windows with painted stone surrounds. The first-floor windows are sashed and do not have glazing bars, while the second-floor windows are 6-pane sashes. There are chimneys located on both the left and right sides of the building.
