Description
Mona House is a house from the early 19th century, now used for storage. It is built of sandstone ashlar in narrow courses and has a slate roof. The building features a symmetrical design with two storeys and two bays, complete with a plinth, chamfered quoins, and a moulded cornice. The windows are glazing bar sashes set within painted stone architraves. The doorway includes external stone steps and has a semi-circular head with a moulded archivolt and a fluted keystone, supported by moulded imposts. The door itself is a later 19th-century four-panelled type. The gable ends have chimneys, and the right-hand return wall is similarly styled but has windows with plain stone surrounds.
