Description
No. 13 is a house from the early 19th century, featuring a facade made of sandstone ashlar and a slate roof. The building is symmetrical, with gable stacks, and consists of two storeys and three bays at the front, which faces south towards the canal. There is a cellar at the rear ground level. The facade is enhanced by giant pilasters, a plain frieze, and a cornice. The windows are sashed with glazing bars, set within plain ashlar reveals, and there is a sill band at the first floor. The doorway is decorated with pilasters that have Soaneian details and is topped with a cornice hood.
