Description

Carnforth House is a house dating from 1755, as indicated by a plaque, although it has been altered. The building is constructed of pebbledashed rubble and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has three bays, with lower extensions on both the left and right sides. The windows and door are framed with plain stone surrounds. The windows are sashed without glazing bars, while the two windows flanking the front door are double sashed and separated by square mullions. There are chimneys located on the gables and between the first and second bays.
