Description
No. 10 North Road is a house dating from 1688, as indicated by the inscription on the lintel. The building is pebbledashed and features a slate roof. It has a two-unit central entry plan with end stacks, standing two storeys tall and comprising three bays. The windows are rebated and chamfered with mullions and have a continuous drip above each opening on both the ground and first floors. The ground floor has three-light windows, although the left-hand window has one light blocked. On the first floor, there is a three-light window to the left, a two-light window in the centre, and a former three-light window to the right, which has had its mullions removed and its sill lowered. The door features moulding around the jambs that continues around the shaped lintel, and it has raised and fielded panels, with the upper two panels being glazed.
