Description
Carnforth Station Junction Signal Box is a signal box built in 1903 for the Furness Railway. It features a brick base with a glazed operating room and a hipped roof made of Welsh slate. The base consists of five depressed brick panels, each containing a one-light window, and has entries at both ends. This signal box is part of a unique group of railway buildings that includes other former Steamtown railway structures and the Carnforth station box.
