Description

Hodgson's Croft is a house from the early 19th century that contains elements from the 17th century. It features rubble and cobble walls topped with a slate roof. The building has a two-unit central entry plan with end stacks and stands two storeys high with three bays. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and are set in plain stone surrounds, which are also used for the door. At the rear, there is a later outshut. Inside, there is a moulded shouldered fireplace that is typical of the 18th century.
