Description

This is a garden wall, likely built in the mid-to-late 19th century, that encloses two sides of the garden to the north of Number 18 on Bailey Lane in Heysham. The wall is constructed from sandstone rubble and features triangular coping. To the west of the garden, there are two gate piers made of rusticated sandstone, which are square in shape and topped with pyramidal caps. This structure is included for its group value.
