Description
Jenny Wren Cottage, comprising two houses at Nos. 7 and 9, likely dates from the 17th century with alterations in the early 20th century. The houses are constructed of sandstone rubble with a brown tile roof. They are two storeys high, each with two bays. Yellow sandstone lintels and sills feature a stop chamfer. The left-hand house (No. 9) has 20th-century casement windows, while No. 7 has sash windows. All windows are fitted with later 20th-century louvred false shutters. Both houses have central doorways. Chimneys are located on the gables and between the houses.
