Description
The ice house located north-west of Ashton Hall is a structure likely dating from the 19th century. It is built from sandstone rubble and brick, and much of it is concealed by earth and vegetation. The building features a domed area and a vaulted entrance passage. At the time of the survey, the doorway was bricked up, making the interior inaccessible.
