Description
Upp Hall Farmhouse is a house that possibly dates back to the early 18th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed from pebbledashed rubble with a limestone boulder plinth and features a slate roof. The building has a two-unit central-entry plan and gable stacks, standing two storeys high with three bays. The windows have plain reveals; the ground floor windows are 6-pane sashes, while the first-floor windows include a modern one and a left-hand sashed window with glazing bars. The door has a chamfered surround. On the left-hand gable, there is a window with a plain stone surround on each floor. At the rear, there is an outshut and a later parallel wing with windows that have plain reveals, along with a taller 19th-century wing at right angles, which has a stone slate roof.
