Description
No. 10 Greaves Drive is a pair of houses built in the mid-18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. The houses are constructed from sandstone rubble and feature steep slate roofs with gable stacks. They are two storeys tall. The main house has three bays, with 20th-century casement windows set in painted rendered surrounds and stone sills. The left-hand ground-floor window has a lower sill. Between the bays, there is a door with a painted raised stone surround. To the right, there are two additional lower bays, also with 20th-century casement windows in painted surrounds. Originally, the ground-floor windows were of two lights with central flat-faced mullions typical of the mid-18th century. The doorway on the left has a left-hand jamb made of rubble, a chamfered lintel, and a right-hand jamb.
