Description

No. 33 Church Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with sandstone dressings and features an imitation slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The windows are framed with plain stone surrounds, with the ground-floor windows featuring a central square stone mullion. All windows include glazing bars, and some have upper panes that open. The doorway, located between the two bays, consists of a plank door with a plain stone surround. A difference in the stonework indicates that there was once a second doorway to the right, suggesting that the house was originally two cottages. The property has end stacks.
