Description
Bowerham House is an early 19th-century house located in Lancaster. It is built from sandstone ashlar and features a hipped slate roof with a deep eaves overhang. The west facade presents a symmetrical design with two storeys and three bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes, each with sill bands and plain reveals. A single-storey porch on this side has a doorway flanked by clasping Tuscan pilasters, topped with a cornice and blocking course. The south facade mirrors this style but includes a timber trellis porch and a fixed window with glazing bars on the left side of the ground floor, set in an opening with a lowered sill. A chimney is positioned near the center of the roof.
