Description

The wall enclosing the churchyard at the Parish Church of the Holy Trinity is a mid-19th century structure made of cobbles and sandstone rubble, topped with triangular capping. It surrounds all four sides of the churchyard. The eastern section of the wall, which borders Church Street, features a pair of gate piers with gates on either side of the church, as well as a third pair to the south. This third pair is likely from the same period as the church, although it has been relocated, and includes lancet panels carved on the faces of the piers.
