Description
Park Farmhouse is a house dated 1685, constructed of cobble with sandstone dressings and a rendered facade, topped with an artificial slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring three bays. The facade includes two drip courses and has sash windows with thick glazing bars, which may suggest an 18th-century influence. The ground floor windows are paired within painted stone surrounds that have a central mullion, while the first-floor surrounds incorporate rebated and chamfered stones from the original mullioned windows. The central bay features a door with a moulded surround and a shaped lintel inscribed with '1685 TBE'. The gable chimneys are prominent, and the gable walls are made of exposed cobble, each with chamfered attic windows, one of which is now blocked. Both the first and ground floors have a 17th-century window surround, although the ground floor one is currently blocked. The rear wing includes late 20th-century casement windows in altered chamfered surrounds. The interior has not been inspected.
