GV II
House, early C19th. West front of punched limestone ashlar, other walls of watershot limestone rubble. 2 storeys. West front of 3 bays with sashed windows with glazing bars and plain ashlar reveals. Staircase visible cutting across windows of central bay. Gables have chimneys, copings and kneelers. Entrance through extension against north gable. At the southern end of the facade a concave linking wall connects the house with a stable and coach house of limestone rubble with slate roof and gable coping. Its west wall has a blocked wide opening with segmental arch, and a pitching hole with plain reveals above. The east wall of the stable has a door and a sashed window with plain reveals. Against the linking wall is a 3-sided lean-to. The rear (east) wall of the house has a modern lean-to extension, with 3 sashed windows with glazing bars and plain reveals on the 1st floor above, with a similar window to the left on the ground floor. North extension of 2 bays towards the east, pebbledashed with sashed windows with plain reveals on the ground floor and sashed windows with plain reveals, glazing bars and square-sectioned hood moulds on the 1st floor. Interior. Dog-leg stair with open string, turned newels, 2 turned balusters to each tread and ramped pine handrail.
