Description
Ouzel Thorn Farmhouse is a house built in 1761. It is constructed from watershot sandstone and has a slate roof. The building features a double-depth plan and is two storeys high with two bays, displaying chamfered quoins. The windows are sashed with glazing bars and have projecting rebated and chamfered surrounds. Most of the mullions have been removed, except for the left-hand ground-floor window, which retains one mullion and includes a fixed light and casement with glazing bars. Between the bays, there is a 19th-century gabled stone porch. Above the porch, there is a plaque inscribed with 'LP 1761'. The house has gable chimneys.
