Description

Lower Emmetts is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from squared sandstone and has a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with three bays, featuring chamfered quoins. The windows have plain stone surrounds and are mostly sashed with glazing bars, except for the left ground floor window and the central first floor window, which are modern but still have glazing bars. The central bay contains a door with a plain stone surround. There are gable chimneys on the roof. The rear wall features two flush chamfered mullioned windows on the first floor and a stair window with one transom.
