Description
No. 115 and the barn adjoining to the south-west is an early 19th-century house constructed of pebbledashed rubble with a slate roof. The building is symmetrical, featuring a central entrance and end stacks. It stands 2½ storeys tall and has three bays. The doors and windows are framed with plain stone surrounds, while the first-floor windows are sashed. The central attic window is blank, and the doorway is topped with a cornice hood.
Inside, there is a central staircase that has a single flight with an open string, turned newels, stick balusters, and a mahogany handrail. The barn to the left is made of limestone rubble and has a lower slate roof. It features a wide segmental-arched doorway, with a second similar opening to the right that is now blocked. The doorway with plain reveals to the left was rebuilt around 1981. The barn's trusses consist of hardwood principals with softwood ties, and a 17th-century studded door has been reused at the rear.
