Description

Kellet's Bridge, located in Newton with Clifton, is a public road bridge over the Lancaster Canal, built around 1797 by engineer John Rennie. The bridge is constructed from large sandstone blocks and features an elliptical arch supported by triple keystones. It has bands and single-course parapets topped with tubular iron railings, as well as pilastered ends.
