Description

Salwick Hall Bridge, built around 1797, is an accommodation bridge over the Lancaster Canal, designed by engineer John Rennie. The bridge is constructed from large sandstone blocks and features an elliptical arch with triple keystones. It has bands and parapets with rounded coping, as well as pilastered ends. This bridge is part of a group that includes Wilson's Bridge (No.25) nearby.
