Description

Little Holt Farmhouse, now a house, was likely built in the mid-18th century and has been altered since. It is constructed of watershot coursed sandstone with some brick detailing, and has a tiled roof. The house has an L-shaped layout, consisting of three bays with a service wing extending to the rear of the right half. It is two storeys high and symmetrical in design, featuring raised quoins, a first-floor band, and a central door with a moulded architrave. There are two windows at ground floor level and three above, all with fluted keystones within straight lintels and altered glazing—some built-in shutters remain. The return wall of the service wing displays a large lintel marking the former location of a door, and a blocked two-light flush mullion window. Gable-end chimneys are present. The interior has not been inspected.
