Description

This boundary stone, located on the east side of Ightenhill Park Lane, approximately 50 meters south of the junction with Ighten Road, dates from around 1889. It is made of sandstone and features a cast-iron plaque. The stone is a rectangular pillar with a rounded top, and the face of the stone is adorned with a moulded cast-iron plaque that reads "Burnley Municipal Borough Boundary 1889."
