Description

Pentridge Mill Chimney is a cotton mill chimney built in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone and features a circular design with a beehive base, complete with a cornice and oversail. This chimney is one of the few in the town that remains in complete condition. It is a prominent feature in the Finsley Gate area and creates a striking visual relationship with the River Calder, which it stands beside, with its bed paved.
