Description

The chimney at the former Victoria Mill, dating from around 1840, is a notable structure associated with the cotton industry. It is constructed from brick and features stone dressings, including external steel tie rods. The chimney has a square section that tapers as it rises. Its sides are panelled, topped with a stone band and a moulded stone cornice.
