Description

This boundary stone, located on the west side of Ightenhill Park Lane approximately 50 metres south of the junction with Ighten Road, dates from around 1889. It is made of sandstone and features a small rectangular shape with a rounded top. The stone has a moulded cast-iron plaque on its face, which is inscribed with the words "Burnley Municipal Borough Boundary 1889."
