Description
This barn, located approximately 20 metres south west of Moorfell Farmhouse, dates from 1867, as indicated by an owl-hole in the south gable. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and likely consists of five bays. The east side features a recessed wagon entrance, which is flanked by large outshuts that have carried-down roofs. The south gable prominently displays the owl-hole within a square surround, further highlighting its date of construction. This barn is listed for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
