Description
This is a 17th-century farm building located to the south of Forest Fold Farmhouse. It features a first-floor granary and is constructed of brick with stone dressings and a concrete tile roof. The building has a stone base and a band above the ground floor, with quoins at the corners. The west facade includes an entrance and a two-light single-chamfered-mullioned window, both topped with a keyed lintel. There are ventilation holes shaped like concave-sided diamonds. The left side has a first-floor entrance with a keyed lintel, flanked by two-light windows, all beneath a drip mould raised over the entrance. The steps leading up to this entrance have a stone parapet with moulded coping, and the bottom few steps are returned. The right side features a pitching eye above a cogged frieze. At the rear, there is a wing with two-light windows and additional ventilation holes. Inside, the building has a collar and tie beam truss.
