Description
Hall Lane Cottages is a house that likely dates from the 17th century or early 18th century. It is built from dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. On the ground floor, there are recessed flat-mullioned windows with labels, consisting of two and three lights. The right side of the building has a two-light chamfered-mullioned window on the ground floor, with a dripstone that extends over the entrance. The first floor contains a two-light flat-mullioned window. The entrance features a wide-boarded door with strap hinges. At the rear, there is a wing that has a three-light flat-mullioned window, along with some window openings that do not have mullions. Inside, the cottage includes chamfered beams and a staircase with splat balusters.
