Description
Gautley House is a house dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of dressed stone with quoins and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with the end bays projecting under gables. The windows are double-chamfered-mullioned, featuring label moulds, although the first bay has casements beneath label moulds. On the ground floor, there is a five-light window in the second bay and a four-light window in the third bay. The first floor has three-light windows. The entrance was added in the 20th century. The house has a cross-axial stack and return lateral stacks, with the shafts likely dating from the 19th century; the stack on the right return is truncated.
