Description

A group of four houses, numbered 2, 4, 6, and 8 Normans Place, were likely built around 1810. They are constructed of brick with a slate roof. Each house is two bays wide, with two storeys and a double-depth plan, featuring a small wing at the rear. Each property has a six-panel door, complemented by a decorative fanlight, Tuscan three-quarter columns, and an open pediment on the right-hand side. A sash window is situated to the left of the door; however, number 2 has a single-storey canted bay window instead. The upper floor of each house has two sash windows, with stone sills, cambered brick arches, and original glazing bars. A modillion eaves cornice runs along the top, and a ridge stack is located between each house.
