Description
This barn, located next to Beeston Hall in Ridge Fold, dates from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of roughly coursed stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The barn includes shippons with haylofts above. The gable facing the road has a central door, an owl hole, and is topped with a coped gable that has kneelers and a ball finial. On the left side, there is an inserted first-floor door, along with a gabled section that contains a shippon door and two small window openings. The rear of the barn is obscured by a 20th-century lean-to. Inside, the barn features inclined queen post roof trusses.
