Description
Lumm House is a 17th-century farmhouse, now a house, with alterations and a 20th-century wing. It is constructed of roughly dressed stone, painted, with a graduated stone slate roof. The building follows an L-shaped plan, with the rear wing dating to the 20th century. A projecting stone plinth is visible. A 20th-century door is set within the gable, alongside 20th-century casement windows. Original blocked door openings are situated on the right and left sides of the building. The left wing is an outshut, and the right wing features a large gabled dormer window. A substantial ridge chimney stack is present. All windows are 20th century, except for those at the rear, which retain two 4-light and one 2-light chamfered stone mullion windows with dripmoulds.
