Description

Spout House Farm is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble, which is now painted white, and features stone dressings, a graduated stone slate roof, and brick stacks. The building has two bays and is two storeys high, with a 20th-century extension at the rear. The door is located in the second bay and has an ovolo-moulded frame, a stone surround, and a shaped lintel. The windows are 20th-century casements, with the window in bay two featuring a dripmould. The rear windows have also been altered but retain one with a dripmould. The farmhouse has gable chimney stacks and internal timber-framed partition walls.
