Description

Spout House is a house that dates back to the 16th century and features a cruck-framed structure. It has been largely rebuilt in coursed rubble and partly restored in brick during the 20th century, topped with a tile roof. The house consists of three by one bays and has one storey plus an attic. There are 20th-century windows in the first and second bays, along with a 20th-century gabled porch. In the third bay, remnants of the original timber-framed structure can be seen on a stone plinth. A gabled dormer window is present in the first bay, and the right gable displays an exposed closed cruck frame. Additionally, there is a closed cruck truss located between the second and third bays.
