Description
A terrace of thirteen houses, now offices, built around 1820 on a shallow concave curve. The terrace was constructed in three distinct phases. The houses are built of brick with stone dressings and have a Welsh slate roof. They are three storeys high, with three windows to each house, and exhibit varying internal plans. Nos. 22-26 were planned with a central entrance hall between two principal rooms; No. 22 has a single room to the frontage. The houses have six-panelled doors with traceried overlights in pedimented cases, with the right-hand doorcase to No. 22 having a flat entablature. The windows are twelve-pane sash windows with flat-arched rendered heads. Nos. 27-29 have entrances to the left and two windows to the right, with brick arched heads to the windows. Corinthian shafts support an entablature with a triglyph and medallion frieze in each doorcase. Nos. 30-34 are similarly planned, with an entrance hall to one side. The doorcases have flat entablatures, with an enriched triglyph frieze to No. 31, and Corinthian shafts to No. 30. Axial stacks are present. The interior has not been inspected.
