Description

No. 260 Great Clowes Street is a house that is part of a terrace with No. 258, built around 1830. The exterior is finished in stucco and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range. The doorway is set back to the left, framed by a stressed architrave and an entablature supported by Ionic pilasters. The windows on the right have been renewed but remain in their original openings, while above are three 12-pane sash windows with a continuous sill-band. The house has a plain wooden eaves cornice and an angle pilaster on the left side, along with a stack on the end wall. The interior has not been inspected.
