Description
Green Ash House and the adjoining barn date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof, while the barn has a corrugated asbestos roof. The house has a double-depth plan with three storeys and three bays, with a central door. The first and third bays have three-light flat-faced stone mullion windows, and the second bay has a single-light window, all with continuous sill bands. There is a gable chimney stack and two-light windows in the gables, along with a 20th-century window. The rear of the house has similar window arrangements, although the mullions are recessed. A small 20th-century extension connects the house to the barn, which includes a segmental-headed cart entry, a two-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion window, an outshut, and garage doors added to the rear.
