Description

This is a wool wall located north of Lower Hill Top, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from dry-laid squared rubble and measures approximately 25 meters long. The wall features a vertical north face and an angled south face, which is stepped due to the arrangement of the stones. The top of the wall is finished with coping stones laid on edge. This structure was used for drying yarn, wool, or cloth.
